2 am and the moon is shining high above the rooftops.

Insomnia, that friend you have come to know is revisiting you for the 3rd night in a row.

The familiar feeling of paranoia begins to settle in.

You have to be up in 4 hours.

You lie there with your eyes closed and mind racing. Your thoughts have no end as they hurdle through your mind like an uncharted spaceship.

You grab your phone and begin to browse the interwebs in hopes to take your mind off the fact that you haven’t slept soundly in 3 days.

“How to treat insomnia due to anxiety”. A quick google search and you have already tried every natural remedy mentioned.

Nothing is working and nothing has worked.

Anxiety is the culprit that can lead to insomnia.

The one thing that can creep up on your psyche like a thief in the night.

Anxiety triggers are different for everyone.

When you consider the root of anxiety, it can often be narrowed down to emotions stemming from the four themes below.

  1. Fear of the unknown
  2. Uncertainty
  3. Fear of the future
  4. Not being grounded

Society as a whole is conditioned to live in the future more so than the present.

We are taught to only “look ahead”, “plan ahead”, “prepare”.

Depending upon the situation, this can be very necessary.

However, if that is the dominant mode in which we live, we are chronically “preparing for the worst”, and living from a state of uncertainty.

It doesn’t help that the current events have lent us to be in a constant state of panic and prepare mode.

Turn on the tv and what are we bombarded with?

“Impending doom”

“Hide yourself”

“Isolate”

“More threats to come later”

fThe influx of these messages on our psyche day in and day out becomes a breeding ground for chronic anxiety, depression, and insomnia.

Many of us have grown tired of the pharmaceutical and synthetic supplements that reduce anxiety symptoms but don’t treat it.

This is where the Two Step Process comes in.

If you want to learn how to treat insomnia due to anxiety, read on.

The 2- Step Plan

I struggle with anxiety in my own life. As an Empath, I have come to know anxiety like an old friend who would visit every so often.

Once it occurred to me that my anxiety spells would come in times of uncertainty or by not grounding my energy, the treatment made sense.

So what type of action steps can we take to combat this or more effectively banish it?

1. Know the Source

Sounds like an obvious thing right?

However, if you are like many, it’s hard to trace back to the source of your anxiety without revisiting the four causes of anxiety spells.

To help with this you can keep in mind the four themes below.

  1. Fear of the unknown
  2. Uncertainty
  3. Fear of the future
  4. Not being grounded

Did this start when you were thinking about a situation and unsure of it’s outcome?

Boom. ANXIETY SPELL.

Did this occur when you were in a large crowded area with the energies of many flying around unhinged?

Cue those stomach flip flops.

What about when you think about your life two months from now.. do you feel secure?

Get ready for insomnia due to anxiety.

Now I want to make it clear that some people may have insomnia issues that are related to a vitamin or mineral deficiency or just general lifestyle choices.

Being on social media right before bed can also contribute to insomnia due to anxiety, so view it sparingly.

2. Ground, Release, Consume

Ground

To put myself in a higher vibrational state, I have found in the moment of anxiety is to remain present and begin to cultivate feelings of safeness within my body.

I change my thoughts about an outcome and focus on what is wanted instead. I remember that I am the author of my life, therefore I am safe.

Fear is simply, false evidence appearing real.

Then, I proceed to ground myself in any way I can.

You can ground yourself by first getting into nature and sitting your butt on the ground.

Ass to Earth sisters!

Release

Begin to imagine light coming from the ground and up through your spine and out of your head “cleaning you out”

Consume

About an hour before bed, I take a natural supplement called “Magnolia Bark”.

Magnolia Bark is the star in this two step process.

Consuming a dose of Magnolia Bark has permanently been added to my daily routine because of its life-changing effects.

The Wonders of Magnolia Bark

Magnolia Bark is an all-natural extract taken from a Magnolia Tree. Therefore this extract is highly grounding and occurs directly in nature.

This long-used supplement goes back thousands of years as traditional Japanese and Chinese medicine.

“Magnolia bark is considered a safe supplement for human consumption. No adverse effects related to magnolia bark or the compounds it contains have been observed” – Healthline

Some interesting facts about Magnolia Bark is that it is a natural anxiolytic, helping to lower anxiety, depression and reduce stress.

Due to the properties of Magnolia bark, it can also act as a sedative, directly helping you to fall asleep faster and more soundly. It’s interesting to note that it’s anti-stress capabilities also contribute to a more restful sleep.

That’s a win win.

I first found out about Magnolia Bark when a good friend of mine recommended it to me. “You have to try this, it will completely halt your anxiety”, she said.

After researching it a bit, I decided to take the plunge.

What I loved most about Magnolia Bark it’s that its effects could be felt after 20 minutes.

I noticed that the minute I closed my eyes, I would drift off effortlessly.

The effects weren’t scary, they were soothing and life changing.

Waking up in the morning, my anxiety had done a 180. I was now immune to the fear-mongering effects of the outside world. I began to have more trust in my self and increased faith in whatever I was manifesting.

I now had a sense of “everything is OK, and you are OK”.

Cue being fully grounded.

If I had known about Magnolia Bark sooner, it could have saved many years of anxiety spells.

Magnolia Bark has been an ultimate game changer for me. I take two capsules every night before bed and will never be without it.

I haven’t found any negative side effects to taking Magnolia Bark as it is an extract from a Magnolia tree. Therefore, Its ability to ground is paramount.

The great thing about Magnolia Bark is that if you miss a day, the effects can be felt up to 48 hours.

Magnolia Bark like CBD is not habit forming, so it is not something you will become addicted to. However, you can treat it as you would a daily multi vitamin since it is indeed considered a health supplement.

Now where can you get this?

You can do a quick google search and find a brand that you trust.

If you want to know the brand I take, it is Apeiron. I highly recommend their products. DHHB is the short term for the Magnolia Bark extract.

I am huge into researching ANYTHING before I buy into it (even clothing items). There is also research available on the product itself on their website.

My main goal with this recommendation is to just get the message out about this life-changing supplement.

This isn’t just another synthetic big-pharma band-aid. This is high vibe medicine and everyone far and wide deserves to know about this. If you are into natural ways to heal and align yourself, this grounding supplement is worth a try.

A full dose is equal to two capsules. You can try taking one at night to see how you feel and then increase to two capsules the next night. I am picky with supplements, so I took this approach to make sure nothing crazy happened.

Doing this two-step process is something I feel that can help treat your insomnia related anxiety because it significantly reduced mine quickly.

If Magnolia Bark is not something you are able to invest in at the moment, you can ground yourself topically by taking magnesium salt baths.

Magnesium Salt Crystals are very affordable, and you can find them at your local grocery store.

Remove Negative Energy by Adding This to Your Bath

Comment down below if you tried the two-step process outlined here or have tried Magnolia Bark. I would love to hear about your experience and whether it worked for you!
