Summer is in full swing ladies! That means, flip flops, bikinis, sunscreen, light perfumes, long days and short nights.

I’ve recently been on quest to revamp my skin care, vanity, and invest in more pieces for summer particularly summer picks that are perfect for braving these hot summer days.

Finding beauty products that jive well with you can be an expensive and exhausting task.

These summer picks however impressed me so much that they have earned a permanent spot in my routine. I absolutely love when that happens, dont you?

Nécessaire Body Lotion

I love how moisturizing this without being too greasy. It has the right amount of consistency that gives you the smoothness without needing to re apply multiple times throughout the day.

I also love that this lotion is unscented.

Unscented lotion gives you the ability to apply it right before spraying your perfume and then apply your perfume on top.

This overall helps to make your perfume last longer. I also love the minimalist look of this body lotion and it looks so classy sitting on my bathroom vanity.

Fresh Rose Hydrating Toner

This toner has a subtle scent of roses but not in the old lady way.

It isn’t too harsh going on but is a happy medium. I have combo/oily skin for reference and I like to avoid overly harsh skin care products.

I have found that anything too harsh can be stripping and leave your skin feeling literally snatched and looking like Hiroshima.

I enjoyed this toner simply because I could see a noticeable change in my skin after using it for a few days. I also love the look of the rose petals in the bottle which adds a nice feminine touch

D & G 3 L’Imperatrice

So this fragrance was a total blind buy! I listened to a few YouTube reviews and decided to blindly take the plunge.

I had been looking for a new summer fragrance that was light and truly fell in love upon first sniff!

This has a floral but fruity scent akin to watermelon and jasmine without it being too childish or cheap.

The dry down is a tad musky which adds a sexy element to it. This is perfect for day or night. I would imagine a woman whose playful, sophisticated, sexy and flirtatious to be wearing this scent.

Secret Energy – High Grade Magnesium Bath Salts

These a staple in my bath routine especially in the summer when I am much more active and playing sand volleyball more often. When I need my muscles to recover from a lot of activity I reach for these.

These high grade magnesium bath salts really help speed up the recovery process and do wonders for your skin and overall mood. I love that they are high grade magnesium and not just salt fillers.

I just truly can’t get enough and look forward to evening nights relaxing in the bathtub with a cup of these in my bath water.
